Suppose I have to be away from home and I am not able to bring along my laptop, only my phone.
At the moment, the TT mobile app only allows us to pause, cancel and resume algos. If I set my algo to ignore market state and start the algo before I leave home, will it always continue running (i.e. I don't have to manually resume it at any time)?
On the ADL "Algorithm Behavior At Market Close and Disconnect" help page, I read about the following warning.
Warning: Regardless of any combination mentioned below, when an Algo SE Server loses connectivity to a TT Gateway for any reason, it pauses all algorithms that use that TT Gateway regardless of whether or not an algorithm has any currently-working orders on the Gateway. Typically, TT Gateways are recycled on a daily basis which is perceived as a disconnect from the perspective of the related Algo SE server. Paused algorithms cannot be resumed until the Algo SE Server reconnects to the TT Gateway.
Will this cause my algo to pause and I will have to resume it manually even after the Algo SE Server has reconnected to the TT Gateway?
Thanks in advance for your time.

First let me answer your question on the ADL algos PAUSE from disconnect..
In the web-based TT platform we have accounted for keeping algos running during the normal Gateway recycles during the week. As long as you have "Ignore Market State" checked....your algos will not pause due to the trade sessions close. Now with respects to the algos running through the weekends...... algo servers only reboot when there is software updates implemented. If there is no Algo Server software upgrade, then it will not reboot. If you have a running algo instance when the Algo SE server reboots for whatever reason. Your algo will PAUSE and or Fail. Meaning you will have to either click Resume or Delete and resubmit a new algo .
Now to address your TT Mobile app for algos......
You can't LAUNCH new algo order via the TT Moblie App. You will have to do that from your front end GUI access. So, when you launch algos from your GUI browser access. You then log into your TT Mobile App to see these instances running in your Algo Dashboard.

Greetings @Damon, thanks for your prompt reply. It is informative.
You mentioned that TT has accounted for keeping algos running during normal gateway recycles in the web-based TT platform. However, I am using the desktop version of TT. Does this apply to the desktop version too?

Desktop version meaning X_TRADER Pro......not the web-based TT correct? In the X_TRADER application, you must set your ADL algo to "Ignore Gateway Down" functionality setting from the ADL Design Canvas Variables Window.
