I have set up a key and the framework for a TT Core SDK application which all runs smoothly until it attempts to pass credentials. At which time I receive the message:
{"Unable to initialize the SDK. Details: CoreSDK failed to initialize. Please see the log file for further details."}Looking into the log, every time I run the program I get the same critical error that shuts down the connection:
| CRTCL | Error initializing the SDK. Unable to download the configuration files for DESKTOP-**** [environment:ext-uat-cert] to ....AppData\Local\TradingTechnologies\TTSDK\ Shutting down the SDK.
@craigthomaskey Are you running the TT Core SDK or the TT .NET SDK? We have not released the Core SDK. Are you trying to run the TT .NET SDK in Server mode? If so, you need to be using a dedicated core sdk server in the TT environment and if you are not, it will not be able to find the appropriate configuration files to download.
Trish, there was actually a miscommunication in our firm, I was under the impression we were using the Core not the .NET. I have just switched over and everything is looking good. Thank you for your help.
@craigthomaskey Excellent!
For the record, we have 3 products: TT .NET SDK which operates on windows in either client or server mode. Server mode requires a dedicated server in the TT infrastructure. We also have our CORE SDK which is a C++ SDK which operates in linux which also required a dedicated server in our infrastructure. And finally our REST API which, as the name implys, is a REST api which endpoints for various data from the TT system.
